History
Gibbs Textiles, Inc. was founded by Mr. Jimmy Gibbs in 1972 supplying
primarily replacement parts and accessories for the weaving industry.
Gibbs International, Inc., the successor to Gibbs Textiles, Inc. and
Gibbs Machinery, Inc., has grown to a worldwide organization. Gibbs
International, Inc. is now one of the foremost companies in the world
dealing in pre-owned textile machines and complete plants of all kinds.
Gibbs has purchased, then resold or liquidated, more than 1000 complete
textile plants. The scope of supply comprises: Spinning, Winding,
Weaving Preparation, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing, Printing and Finishing,
Synthetic Fiber Manufacturing and Processing Machines and the entire
spectrum of Non-woven Manufacturing Lines and individual machinery.
